Project Description

For many reasons, Tracy, California has been chosen to locate our new sports and entertainment theme park.

Tracy has the required infrastructure to accommodate the park. It has adequate freeway, rail, water access, and private and scheduled air service.

It has the fire and police protection, water supply, sewer capacity, and power, to sustain a project of this size.

Tracy has 100,000 citizens living within its sphere of influence.
The Tracy location has 8.5 million residents living within a one hour radius.

Tracy has 4 international airports located within one hour… San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland and Sacramento.

Tracy has 4 main rail service routes that access the city from north, south, east and west. The City of Tracy has completed construction on a brand new multimillion dollar transit station.

There are many highways that all converge at Tracy. Highways 580, 205, 99, 5, 4, 33, 120, 457. The extensive series of freeways makes it ideal for California travelers to visit this entertainment park.

Planned within the development is a large full service boat marina. The delta waterways allow access to the park from the San Francisco Bay. This will make the park accessible by boat from anywhere in the world.

Listed below are overviews of the many venues planned within the SPIRIT OF CALIFORNIA Sports and Entertainment Park.

The SPIRIT OF CALIFORNIA management and consultants have been working very hard to create an amusement park in northern California.  Our amusement park will create a magical blend of rides, water activities, high tech experiences, restaurants, museums, theater and thrill park.

A 105-acre motor home park will be a popular and inexpensive lodging option for motorsports enthusiasts, festival, boat marina and amusement park attendees and others enjoying the mega entertainment park with their families.

The park will accommodate approximately 1,150 motor home sites, 350 overnight campsites, 50 tent cabins, 25 permanent cabins, and 250-day camp picnic sites. The park amenities will include: restroom/shower facilities, landscaping and 2 small lakes, a grocery and supply store, swimming pools, recreation room, laundry facilities, motor home dump facility and other utility type services.

The park camp site support facilities and atmosphere will be designed in a relaxing family friendly environment for all to enjoy.

The 200-acre sports complex is under construction as a City of Tracy project. This venue consists of 23 baseball and softball fields, 14 soccer fields, 4 football / lacrosse fields, batting cages, a small sporting goods store, vending machines, lockerrooms, and bathrooms with showers. Food services will be provided by a concessionaire.

With the many leagues already signed up to participate in the sport complex; the estimated number of visitors and participants attending the park has been calculated to be 80,000 to 100,000 per week.

The 300 acre motor sports park will boast 6 different race tracks for amateur and professional events; a ½ mile paved oval, a road course offering 3 configurations that can run concurrently and an NHRA professional level drag strip. The dirt track racing will accommodate the motocross, off road truck and sprint car racing. These tracks along with a specifically designed OEM level proving grounds vehicle research center can be utilized day and night for a testing center to other vendors.

The Spirit of California motorsports park will include racing schools, test center and race series programs for amateur and club events as well as professional race series.

Water related motor sports would be available on one or more of the 3 lakes within the park. Boat racing, jet ski and wake board competition will attract the water enthusiasts.

The motor sports park will boast a total of 12 different racing tracks including: BMX bicycle track, motocross, off road trucks, boat racing, tractor pull, go-cart, dirt and paved ovals, drag strip and 3 separate configuration road courses plus three vehicle research center specific test venues.

The 105-acre state of the art festival grounds will attract thousands of patrons from the central valley and the entire bay area. 8.5 million people reside within a one hour 20 min. radius. Patrons will be excited to attend the festival park for events such as country music, techno, conventions, car shows and art & wine festivals. The inside festival arena will seat over 8,000, but the overall grounds will accommodate over 100,000 people.

A 90-acre parcel will include a premium 4 star hotel, casino, spa and convention center, located on the east side of Tracy Boulevard. The casino project is an integral key aspect to the project development and success. Historically, it is proven that casino gaming drives high revenues and substantial profits that other types of venues cannot achieve. The Tracy location would be the closest casino to the San Francisco Bay area built to date.

The hotel will be designed in phases to construct a total of 500 rooms with area for expansion. It will include 8 restaurants, 75,000 sf. of retail space, arcade, a business center and luxury spa.

The casino will have a 150,000 sf. area for gaming, 2500 slot machines, 75 card tables and a bingo and keno area to seat 2500 guests.

The 150,000 square foot convention center will draw business groups and professional clientele. The convention center will offer a business forum that provides satellite locations to business such as Chase, Fed Ex, Office Max or Best Buy.

Our second phase includes a 900 permanent slip and 400 transient slip boat marina that will have covered boat slips for yachts to ski boats. We will also offer “dry stack” storage in an adjacent enclosed building. The marina will offer full service with a boat dealer, repair facility, fishing tackle and fuel.

The marina includes 250,000sf of venues for shopping, specialty stores, restaurants and outdoor cafes that will resemble “The Grove” in Los Angeles.

The other venues having frontage on or adjacent to the marina will be the hotel, casino, convention center, public park and movie studios.

Movie studios will be built within this project.  W.C. Fields Inc. has begun collaborating with SPIRIT OF CALIFORNIA to construct an independent film and TV production studio, a comedy museum and a performing arts theater. As a part of this movie studio venue.
W.C. Fields Inc. will promote a comedy film festival to be held annually.  W.C. Fields comedy museum will be erected to feature an array of comedic talent.  Special premier releases would be highlighted here at the studios in Tracy, as in Hollywood.  Independent filmmakers and reality shows are always searching to find studio space and set locations in California.  SPIRIT OF CALIFORNIA studios can provide those venue sets and studio space.

The vintner center will have a beautiful backdrop of foliage and grapevines. A natural looking lake will be in the center of the vineyard and will be surrounded by beautiful lawns and landscaping that flow to the lakes edge. Clusters of villa style wine tasting rooms will surround the lakeside settings. Fifty plus wine tasting villas each with their own masterful architecture will give patrons their own piece of the beautiful wine country here in Tracy.

A central plaza area will accommodate some unique retail shops, spa center, cafés and picnic areas. The center is designed as a “get away” that includes the ambience and charm of the wine countryside without the expense. The center will also include a small quaint amphitheater facing the lake with ample lawn seating for 1,500 guests.

There was a golf course on the adjacent property over 100 years ago. The current owner or the property is interested in having a new golf course built in its place. Spirit of California has committed to replicate some of the original architecture and bring back this historic course with modern standards. We will contract with internationally renowned architects in the design of the golf course for the attraction of world class golfing as well as appeal to the local and regional golfing enthusiasts on a daily basis.
